Volker Albus

Volker Albus has been working as a freelance designer and architect since 1982. In 1994 he became a professor for product design at the University for Design in Karlsruhe (Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe). Furthermore, he was the curator of numerous exhibitions and has published in renowned design magazines. For next Volker Albus designed the luminaire Downlight that won the International Design Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg (Internationaler Designpreis Baden-Württemberg) in 2001.
